Arrived at 0830, tide was a long way out, wind was cross-off and no windsurfers around. Rigged 6.2m and big board. Was marginal planing to start with, once I was about 200m off shore I could plane. Water was quite flat but as tide built it got choppier. Wind built so I was very overpowered with the 6.2m, should have changed down but needed to leave at 11am anyway so I stuck it out.
All in all a nice morning, even managed a few dry gybes. I gybe better when I give myself less notice and I dont think about it as much!
